At Trifecta we share the workload with a hands on internship program. It takes many different occupations to run an art gallery. Students wanting to learn small business management, website programming, gallery tech work, social media, research and curating just to name some of the basics. Our interns are chosen from a variety of backgrounds, each one bringing a special element to what makes Trifecta Gallery tick and grow. We have deep appreciation and gratitude for the talents that each of them bring to the table and hope and encouragement for what they learn and take away.

This blog is inside look into who, what, when, where, why and how we do what we do.

SAFEWALLS

Here we go.  Uninstalled the Pancake show today  : (     Loved living with those all month.   Now....we are painting walls, and rearranging the gallery for a 16 person group show-   oh but it is sooooo much more than that.   You'll see.   All hands on deck for one of our busiest weeks ever!    Dont miss it.     mw

NOW WE'RE BLOGGING!!!

Hello Blog-i-sphere!

We're just getting started on the Trifecta Gallery blog but we've already got a lot to say!

Nearly Not There
by Sam Davis
13 x 13 x 5"
urethane casting on maple panel
with auto-paint in frosted acrylic
$400
Last month with Sam Davis' False Horizon was grand!

We loved his fleet of resin and cast iron blimps and ghostly airplane shadows!

If you didn't get a chance to swing by the gallery, please visit Sam Davis' page on www.trifectagallery.com!

And what a great turn-out we had for JW Caldwell's SHUT UP! openings of Preview Thursday and First Friday!

JW's latest work demands your attention with bold statements, larger than (wild)life characters and a snide sense of humor that is quintessentially JW!
... All 3 of Them
by JW Caldwell
20 x 48"
acrylic on muslin over wood
$600

JW Caldwell's SHUT UP! will be at Trifecta Gallery until April 29th, 2011!
